Grimvelt: The Cursed King

The Cursed King:
Ruler of a forgotten kingdom, in search of his only daughter.

"For I lay a curse upon thee, O Husband, till thou dost bring my daughter safely home."

It was known that the king and queen held no treasure dearer than their only child. When she vanished within the Brenerwood, whether taken by guile or lost to wandering, the queen in her anguish laid blame upon her lord.

So terrible was her grief that she bound him with a curse, charging him to seek their daughter and restore her to their home.

Long ages have passed. Yet some claim that a father's sorrowful cries can still be heard beneath the boughs, and rarer still, that his form may be glimpsed between the black trees of the forest.

Old Dynastic Sword:
A blade of Eversteel, carried by the regents of a kingdom long forgotten.

Princess' Cameo:
A pendant bearing the likeness of a princess from a kingdom long forgotten.

The child was loved beyond measure by her father, who wore this token always, a remembrance of their unbroken bond.
